Brian Kennedy not the Director of IMMA
Brian Kennedy turns down Directorship of IMMA. The board is very disappointed at Brian's refusal, his obvious qualifications of both being from the North and being a friend of Ronan Keating made him an ideal candidate for the job and he will be a loss to the Museum. However the search will continue, indefinitely if necessary.

Kerlin Gallery @ IMMA
In an innovative step in arts sponsorship Ireland's best loved gallery The Kerlin is to open a branch on the IMMA campus. A spokesperson said that it was a natural step given the number of Kerlin artists exhibited in the Museum and that it would give a unique opportunity for museum patrons to purchase work by artists prominent in the Museum's collection. The branch will open in the new year.
