Directions to the MITRE Eatontown Office

MITRE, Eatontown, is conveniently located in central New Jersey and is five miles from the Atlantic Ocean. The office can be reached from both the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.

From the New Jersey Turnpike

If traveling from the SOUTH, get off the Turnpike at Exit 7A (195 toward Shore Points).

  • Take 195 East towards the ocean and shortly after 195 turns into Route 138 (approximately 35 miles) watch for Route 18 North (Eatontown).
  • Take Route 18 North to Exit 13A (Wayside West/Wyckoff Road). At end of ramp, bear to left.
  • At first traffic light (Hope Road) make a left turn.
  • Make second left turn onto Industrial Way. Continue on Industrial Way, crossing Route 35. (You will see the Sheraton Hotel on your right.)
  • The second right hand turn after Route 35 is Christopher Way. Make the right turn onto Christopher Way. The MITRE building is on the right, No. 12.

If travelling from the NORTH, get off the Turnpike at Exit 11 (Garden State parkway exit). Follow the Garden State Parkway until Exit 105 (Eatontown). Follow the directions from the Garden State Parkway below.

From the Garden State Parkway

  • Follow the Garden State Parkway from the North or from the South to Exit 105 (the exit numbers increase going from south to north).
  • After paying the toll at Exit 105, make first right turn onto Hope Road.
  • Follow Hope Road to Industrial Way (second left turn after crossing Wyckoff/Shafto Road).
  • Make left turn onto Industrial Way. Continue on Industrial Way, crossing Route 35. (You will see the Sheraton Hotel on your right.)
  • The second right hand turn after Route 35 is Christopher Way. Make the right turn onto Christopher Way. The MITRE building is on the right, No. 12.


Directions to Fort Monmouth Main Post

Fort Monmouth is separated into several pieces located around the Eatontown and Tinton Falls, New Jersey, area. The MITRE Eatontown office is only a few miles from most of the Fort Monmouth complex.

Directions to Fort Monmouth Main Post

  • From the MITRE Eatontown office, turn left out of the parking lot onto Wyckoff Road.
  • At the first traffic light, turn left onto Rt 35.
  • Go to the fourth traffic light. The Main Post will be to your right.
  • You will need specific directions to a particular building. Buildings 1209/1210 are a left turn past the Waters Center. Building 252 is on the right.

Directions to Fort Monmouth Myers Center ("Hex")

  • From the MITRE Eatontown office, turn right out of the parking lot onto Wyckoff Road.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Rt 36.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Hope Road (if you go too far, you will be entering the Garden State Parkway).
  • Go past the next traffic light and take the second left-hand turn into Fort Monmouth.
  • The Myers Center ("Hex") is straight ahead on the left-hand side.

Directions to Fort Monmouth (CECOM Building, Tinton Falls)

  • From the MITRE Eatontown office, turn right out of the parking lot onto Wyckoff Road.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Rt 36.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Hope Road (if you go too far, you will be entering the Garden State Parkway).
  • At the second traffic light (Tinton Ave.), turn left onto Tinton Ave.
  • Cross a bridge, and the CECOM Building will be directly ahead of you.

Directions to Fort Monmouth Gibbs Hall (Officer's Club)

  • From the MITRE Eatontown office, turn right out of the parking lot onto Wyckoff Road.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Rt 36.
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Hope Road (if you go too far, you will be entering the Garden State Parkway).
  • At the second traffic light, turn right onto Tinton Ave.
  • Gibbs Hall will be the next right-hand turn (surrounded by the Golf Course).



Directions to Picatinny Arsenal

Picatinny Arsenal is located north of Hwy 80 in northern New Jersey near the town of Dover. The Mt. Arlington site will be a few miles away. The Arsenal can be reached as follows:

From the MITRE Eatontown Office

  • Get on the Garden State Parkway (Exit 105) going north.
  • Stay on the Garden State Parkway until Route 280 (Exit 145).
  • Take I-280 west to I-80 west.
  • Take I-80 west to Exit 34 for Dover/Sparta/Route 15.
  • Follow the signs for Picatinny Arsenal.

Directions to TACOM LCSEC (Bldg 352S) at Picatinny Arsenal

  • Go through the Picatinny Arsenal Main Gate on Parker Road.
  • Continue on Parker Road past the next traffic light and through the golf course.
  • At the end there is a traffic light. Turn left on Farley Ave.
  • At the next traffic light, turn right onto Reiley Road.
  • Drive approximately 1/4 mile. Building 352S will be to the left with a parking lot in front.

Directions to the MITRE, Mt. Arlington site

  • Take I-80 to Exit 30 (Howard Blvd.); at the end of the exit ramp turn right.
  • Proceed to the first traffic light and turn left.
  • MITRE Site is at 111 Howard Blvd. immediately to the right.
  • The office is located in Suite 214.
