Bloomsday

We've had a great response to the 1000 Joyce Walks call and todays the day where it all turns into action. Remember to document your walk and to share the experience by creating a google maps mashup, click the help tab at the top of the page for a step by step guide to doing this - it's as easy as cut 'n' paste -and lets you then share your walk as an embeddable mashup on any webpage.

It's still not too late to take part, simply click the create a walk tab and create your own walk.

Our call for participation got a much appreciated mention in the always great Turbulence Networked Performance blog.

1000 Joyce Walks

The Bloomsday 2008 project 1000 Joyce Walks which involves getting as many people to walk on Bloomsday in as many cities around the world as possible takes place this June 16th, There's already a huge interest but as always we need more. Go to the Bloomsday page to sign up, it'll be fun!

Internet Explorer

sigh we're still experiencing some intermittant and quite frankly weird errors in internet explorer, we're working it on it but don't have a solution yet. In the meantime can we recommend a really great browser like firefox?

Major Site Update - new features and redesign

We are pleased to announce a major update for Joyce Walks. The principle addition is that walks are now embeddable in any webpage and that each walk now has a unique URL for linking to the walk. The site has also undergone a major restructuring and redesign designed to give more effective access to all the features of the site.
