We will shortly be outputting each walk created by Joyce Walks as a gpx file for downloading directly to GPS devices.
Joyce Walks is a psychogeographical art project which generates walking maps for any city in the world based on remapping routes from Ulysses allowing users to create a mashup of their own walk to be shared with other users both on the Joyce Walks site and as embeddable maps on any site.
There are three easy steps to using Joyce Walks
1. click create a walk
2. Pick the city you want to walk in by typing it's name in the text box.
3. Select the centre point of your city.
4. Choose a route to walk from the drop down menu.

The spotlight Joyce Walks mashup for this month is a walk in Paris along the route of the Circe episode of Ulysses. The walk which was performed in July is full of the expected incident of a summer in Paris and is documented with ten short video scenes. Bloomsday 2008
This June 16th is the date for the 1000 Joyce Walks event. 1000 participatory walks generated by the Joyce Walks are planned to take place around the world expressions of interest to organise walks in cities around the world are now sought. Click for more information
