Slow Death 2003 : John Gerrard
Slow Death 2003 presents a virtual soldier / fighter character, recontextualised from the game Unreal Tournament into a new work entitled 'Slow Death 2003'. The reframable animation, which shows a soldier character just after getting shot and falling to the ground, is scheduled to run over the approximate length of the recent Iraqi war, 20 days or 28800 minutes and to loop upon completion.
This work began on September 6th 2003 and is intended to run indefinitely
