I don’t normally pay much heed to net awards but Nicky Gogan of DATA, Darklight Film Festival and the Digital Hub has been nominated for the innovation award at the Irish Internet Association Awards. So whatever you think of this kind of thing I can’t think of anyone who has done more for the digital arts in Ireland, in fact it would be a travesty if she didn’t win. So as they used to say in Belfast, vote early and vote often!
