The Bono Probability Positioning System is #1 in google.ie search for Bono, cool!

According to an Economist survey Ireland has the lowest marriage rate and the highest spend on alcohol in the world.

Pics from yesterday’s Reclaim the Streets march which I missed because I was knocking back the wine at the Haunted opening.
Lots of stuff going on in Dublin at the fringe fest.
Got some hits from a Google Australia search for “Cat Power” “money back” . Guess where our favourite brat Cat is?

The Blog I’ve been commissioned to do for the Haunted event at the City Arts Center is now live . Note the first post is a large download 560k aimed more at gallery viewing then online, subsequent posts will be more manageable. The exhibition opens today 4pm and continues until the 14 October at the City Arts Centre Moss St Dublin. I’ll post more when I have more time.
Also today Reclaim the Streets repaint the streets for no car day

City Arts Centre
I’m working on a net art work which will be blog based for the City Arts Centre Haunted exhibition. I was in the building yesterday doing some preliminary work while I was there Allyson Spellacy + Jeff Hatfield were (actually Allyson was doing the smashing while Jeff took pix) busy smashing their way through a roof and a floor in preparation for their babel tower. This is is the kind of event this is going to be, great work great location. The opening is on Monday 22nd it’s a ticketed event but I have some tickets for some readers of Stunned. If you want one email me at removefirst-conor@stunned.org first come first served.

The Bono Probability System gets a nice plug from U2ground.com. I’ve got to admit I like seeing it being picked up by the U2 fan sites.

foucault.jpg
Keenly aware of the fluidity of social identities, this 6.5″ Michel Foucault waves his baton in poststructuralist style at all challenges. Shrouded in a special removeable French cloak and with a built-in thoughtful head movement, this superb action figure is essential for both professional philosophers and junior postmodernists.

So here it is, the new look at Stunned. Almost completely live. I think this makes the fourth or fifth redesign but who’s counting.

For those of you who noticed that the zombie link was actually to the national library I would like to say that this was not meant to be a comment on the library users. I was, of course, testing you to see if you were paying attention!
This is the zombie threat link and this is the link to the full inventory of the Joyce papers purchased by the national library.
On the subject of zombies, Stunned is not dead, a new look is under way and will go live very soon. The current look of this page is part of the process.

Well Saturday’s Dublin flash mob was cancelled due to apathy. I blame fear of muggers.
