We’ve had sponsored streakers so I suppose this shouldn’t come as a surprise but in Denmark an advertising company is offering parents of new born babies a free pram with one catch, the pram will carry advertising slogans. via BadAds.org

The last hurrah of the Arthouse closure took place over the weekend with the auction of the buildings contents. I didn’t attend but by all accounts it was pretty crazy.
Among the contents were the servers which hosted the website which contained the results of years worht of artists’ residencies and Arthouse assisted projects. We wouldn’t throw paintings in a skip so why is deleting digital art OK?
Call me a pessimist but I saw this coming and took the precaution of downloading the site to save this work and to keep this important record of digital art practise in Ireland available as a resource for all.
I see this as a temporary measure until a more permanent solution can be found, it was a rush job so please forgive any glitches.

Somewhat related is Don’t Link a site dedicated to linking to websites that don’t allow links, I guess it’s one way to increase your site traffic, maybe I’ll introduce a Stunned no links policy.
On the subject of links I had a huge upsurge in hits on monday and tuesday of this week, it looks like I got a mention somewhere but not linked to directly from a website so untraceable. If you were one of those new visitors I’d really appreciate a mail to let me know where your read about the site
